The Words and Numbers Hub is a Maths and English tutoring business founded by qualified teachers Jason and Sophie. Based in Auckley, we support secondary and GCSE students across the Doncaster area and online.

Through our classroom experience, we’ve seen how much difference clear explanations, patient encouragement and a strong relationship with a teacher can make. We bring that approach to our tuition, giving students space to ask questions, make mistakes and develop their understanding.

We start by listening to you and your child: what feels difficult, what is going well and what they want to achieve. From there, we shape support around their needs, whether they are strengthening the basics, preparing for exams or learning at home.

We offer one-to-one sessions, online group sessions, home education support, and revision and curriculum packs. Across everything we do, our aim is to help students build confidence, develop independence and recognise their own progress.
